Just Say No

I'm going to stick with last week's assertion.  Small children have no place at a grownup game.  The munchkin was marginally better behaved, but only marginally.  I mentioned to the GM at the end that it was proving a problem and I might end up dropping out, and his response was essentially that this is the way it is, and if I don't like it then yes, I should go.

*sigh*

I'll probably stay long enough to see the current (immediate) storyline through (3-4 weeks, I hope) or till I just can't stand it, whichever comes first.  My character is the primary arcane fire support, and I don't want to leave them high and dry out away from their resources.

On the other hand, it's just not fun for me.  More like painful.  And why oh why would I spend that much time doing something that makes me anxious, angry and unhappy?

Ouch. Yeah, I think kids are fun, but I wouldn't want them around disturbing a game, either... good thing I don't think any of the groups I'm in would tolerate such a nuisance, either.

(this is Kaj Sotala from the SW-RPG list, BTW)
