jaegamer: (Cons)
[personal profile] jaegamer
Here (very briefly) is my Gencon schedule. It's in flux, as I wasn't anticipating being on the Blackmoor staff as of Gencon so I hadn't signed up to run at all. Now I'm Plot Coordinator (at least for the moment) and the campaign horribly short of judges for Gencon.  I feel I have an obligation to run as much as I can.

On the other hand, I *need* to have my first slot in the morning off as much as possible, because I'm just too darned old to go on less than 5 hours sleep for more than a day.  Nor am I willing to give up the stuff I have tickets for, as each and every one is something I'm dying to play.  There are some holes in my schedule though, that I'd left open to hang with friends or pick up a game, so those I can fill with Blackmoor.  I'm willing to run any of the intros at the drop of a hat, and a fair number of the rest of the library.  I suck as a tactical/combat judge, so I won't run the high level/high combat mods that have become the staple of the campaign over the past year.  Fortunately that still leaves quite a few modules.

I'll update here as I get new information.

Chill, coming from Otherworld Creations in 2003.

Yeah.

Sigh.

I may track you down for that Cat game. :)

Mea maxima culpa for the severely outdated web page. It's on my list of "I really need to redo this completely and snazz it up" things when I discover this mysterious free time thing.

I'm presuming the game is the Mayfair edition. I always run the Mayfair edition.

We had sooooo much fun at that Cat game, and you helped me handle my Very Large table. It's all ready sold out - all of my games are - but it's also Sunday, mid-morning, so people might not show.

I wanted people (that would be me) to have plenty of check-out time in the morning before they had to be at a game.

You're brave with a 9 AM start time on Saturday!

Not so much brave as consumed by guilt. I'm part of the campaign staff, and I wasn't scheduled to run ANY Blackmoor. I'm still too selfish to give up any of my scheduled games - especially Dresden Files, over which I have been drooling oh - forever. So.. I forgo a little sleep on Saturday (ie, a little drinking on Friday night) and do my duty. I do enjoy running Blackmoor intros.

I'm winging it. Nothing pre-planned. Thanks for nothing Origins Pre-reg (is my eye still twitching?).

Dresden Files? I will so have to check that out!

I'd offer to come help with Blackmoor, but I'm 3.5 illiterate and have no plans to change that. Have any thoughts on 4e? To me, the flavor is more like the Basic/Expert/Companion/Master boxed sets than AD&D.

Don't get so bound up in running around and playing and running that you forget to eat and test your sugar! It's all fun and games until someone goes into a diabetic fog. Be safe! :)

Or in my case, the unwise! I've got my packs of cheese & crackers & trail mix already set aside. :)

Looking forward to Thursday's Supernatural with you and Mike.
Well, and rooming together as always. :)

But soooo bummed I didn't get a ticket for that Dresden game.
Can't even try generics, since I grabbed something else that afternoon.

If gas prices spike back over 4 bucks, we should talk carpool again too.

*hugs*

Depending on where your games are running our paths may cross...I'm doing FotWS Thurs, Fri, Sat at 9:00 AM at the Omni and then WH some the afternoons and evenings. I think I have a couple of slots off. I think. That may change. And I'm never working Sunday mornings again. It felt so great at Origins to not have to stagger out of bed, pack, check out and then go run something, that I decided, let the youngsters work Sunday morning. JLF
