1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
A. Yes, I've been married for eighteen years and counting.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. I wanted to be a technology geek.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. I wish I could dance.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. It depends on circumstances. If we're doing some sort of planning meeting then a coffee (dark and black). If you mean alcohol then either a cider or some single malt Scotch, depending on what's available.
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Broccoli
6) What was the last book you read?
A. I'm currently in the middle of Tigerheart by Peter David.
7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Libra
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. I used to have a tattoo, placed on my abdomen to help a surgeon figure out how to disembowel me. It's now covered by scar tissue. I have no piercings.
9) Worst Habit?
A. Cracking my knuckles.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. I don't own a car, but assuming I did then of course!
11) What is your favorite sport?
A. I don't play sports, but I enjoy watching hockey.

A. Optimistic.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Are we assuming that we know that rescue is on the way? That would be my first priority. After that we'd sit down and chat about stuff.

A. Getting dumped by my wife. (We got back together, obviously.)

A. Jeez, something you don't already know? Okay, I proposed in a truck stop because I thought it was romantic.

A. No.

A. Cheer, hug you, invite you in, take you for dinner, and generally be utterly bewildered by your presence out here on an island in the Pacific.
18) What was your first impression of me? (hmmm...careful!)
A. You've told me that you don't remember our first meeting (at Origins 2001), but I was extremely impressed by you.
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
A. Scary.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. I'd cure my psoriasis.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
A. Yes. I'd start as your conscience, but if that didn't work I'd have your back.
22) What color eyes do you have?
A. It depends on stuff. They're either green or blue, though the latter is rarer and rarer these days.
23) Ever been arrested?
A. No.
24) Bottle or can soda?
A. I almost always pour into a glass, but if I don't have that option then bottle.
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?
A. See if we had finally cobbled together enough of a downpayment to by a condo in Victoria.

A. The local coffee shop (with free wireless internet access).

A. Not especially, but I recognize that there are a lot of things that I don't understand.

A. Game!
